- What gear do you shoot with?

We both shoot with Nikon D7000s. We have a variety of lenses and flashes as well as extra camera bodies, batteries, and lenses for back up.

- How would you describe your style of photography?

We like natural, clean, timeless images. When you book with Charles and Heather Photography, you will receive high quality photos that will last a lifetime. Also, we are on location photographers meaning we do not have a studio, but instead prefer to find new and exciting places to do sessions. Anything from a deserted old barn in a field to downtown can produce beautiful images.

- When should I book my session?

We take sessions on weekends primarily so dates go quicker. However, we can often accommodate most any time frame. Email us for available dates and times.

- How long will my images be available?

The images from all sessions will be available for 30 days. If you would them to be available longer, there will be a small fee. Wedding images will be available 6 months. Again, extended time will incur a small fee.

- How many images should I expect to receive?

All sessions produce approximately 40 images.

- Do you sell gift certificates?

- What are the advantages of choosing Charles and Heather Photography?

When you choose Charles and Heather Photography, you are getting two photographers. We are also an especially unique team as you get a male and female-- perfect for weddings when you need someone to spend time with the bride and groom! Also, we only use professional developers for our photos, have a quick turnaround time, (we wouldn't want to wait a month for photos, so we would never do that to you!) and have taken classes and are knowledgeable about this business. We will be go above and beyond to make sure you are pleased with all the photos you receive from us! Be sure to look for new products coming soon you won't see anywhere else!

- Why don't you offer a disc of images?

As you will learn when you book with us, we are very detail oriented and peculiar about every single one of your photos. We only use professional developers to print our images and will not settle for anything less than perfection. Some places that develop photos do not make sure they are done well and simply mass produce them. They don't take the care and consideration a professional lab would. For those reasons, we do not want our name associated with sub standard prints. We prefer to do it ourselves to be sure every detail is attended too. Don't worry though, we keep our print costs low so you can buy as many prints as you would like!

- What is the process when you book with Charles and Heather Photography?

First, shoot us an email and let us know you are interested in working with us. We will then make sure you have all the pertinent information you need and then we will pick some dates. Choose one that works for you and you will be set! For weddings, we will want schedule a meeting with you prior to your date.

- What should I wear for the session?

Of course, locations and time of year can affect the tye of clothing you will want to choose. We encourage you to wear what you feel comfortable in but keep in mind these photos will likely be displayed (sometimes really big) in many locations. Shorts and a tank top would not be a reccomendation. Coordinating with your family members is good, but you don't have to be matchy- matchy. Pick a couple colors and build on that. If you have any questions, we will be glad to help. Heather always loves an exuse to talk clothes!

- How quick will we get our photos?

For regular sessions, we will have your photos done no later than two weeks. Typically it only takes a few days. For weddings, the time may be a bit longer, usually around 3 weeks. We will do our best to get a few teasers on Facebook soon after the session!
