Liz and Casey's Holiday Mini Session

When Liz and Casey asked us to take their photos for their Christmas cards, they knew they wanted to have their dogs in the photos as well. We began the session by getting the photos with the dogs first thinking they may get distracted or bored if they had to wait around too long. However, we found they were naturals in front of the camera! One squeak of our shutter buddy or saying the phrase "Do you want to go for a walk?" instantly had them looking in our direction. They were perfect the entire time! Check out these photos from our day!

The Wrays Holiday Mini Session

This was the second year we have had the opportunity to take photos of the Wrays for their Christmas cards. We decided to take them this year at a family farm. We had a great afternoon with them and we also enjoyed the lunch they treated us to afterwards! Check out these photos from our day!

Sara's Bridal Session

Sara's bridal session was by far the most entertaining session we have ever done! First of all, you just have to know Sara and her laid back personality to get the humor in this situation. She was planning her wedding in a relatively short amount time (short in terms of wedding planning anyway) so we had pretty much one date to get the portraits done. However, that date was a washout. It was pouring rain and showed no sign of letting up. We asked Sara if she really wanted to continue and she was completely fine with it! So, that is exactly what we did. Of course, outside shots were not an option so we grabbed some umbrellas and made a run for one of the Fort Macon rooms. Luckily, due to the rain, Fort Macon wasn't very crowded. Since running in the rain in a wedding dress was not an option, the only other option was to change in Fort Macon. Sara had zero qualms about this and moved forward as if nothing could phase her. We then spent the afternoon in one of those rooms taking her photos. Sara is such a natural in front of the camera and we had a wonderful (wet) afternoon with her! When we went for pizza after, the waitresses face when we told her we had just finished taking bridal portraits was priceless. We should have gotten a picture of that!

Cute Cowboys

Every year when we go to New Mexico, we always take time to take some photos of our favorite cowboys; Ayden, Noah, Tristan and Samuel. We always have a great time with them and love to visit!
